Responsibilities:
  • Own data engineering team vision, roadmap, end-to-end execution, and deliverables
  • Lead the data engineering team to design, develop, and improve reliable data pipelines, data platforms, auditing strategies, and processes to ensure data accessibility, accuracy, integrity, and SLA with measurable quality
  • Collaborate with analytics, machine learning, and product engineering to evaluate tradeoffs, prioritize competing projects intelligently, and manage expectation appropriately
Requirement:
  • Excellent working attitude; willing and able to do whatever it takes to get things done and deliver impact
  • Advanced SQL skills, solid python skills, shell scripting, and OO dev experience with source code control and build/release process; ability to ship production quality code with good test coverage
  • 5+ years experience in data engineering including ETL design and implementation as well as big data stack
  • Experience in MPP systems, columnar database, and data modeling
  • Team and project leadership experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Bachelor degree in a quantitative field
