The Senior Director of HR will be responsible for providing leadership in designing and executing Smule's HR business processes, technology and, strategy in alignment with the Company's overall strategic plan. The primary responsibilities include leading the design, development, deployment and support of new and existing HR systems to improve workforce productivity and to enable business insights and analytics. Duties will vary from strategy and design to project management, team leadership, and application configuration, testing and troubleshooting to enable organizational HR efficiencies and development. This position will collaborate with the senior leadership team to drive best-in-class human resources practices across the company that are effective, relevant, support the needs of the company, consistently applied; and are legally compliant. This position will provide oversight for the direction, planning, project execution and management of the HR systems and associated data analytics, while ensuring effective and efficient systems' processes and procedures that meet current and future business needs for building a high performing and engaged workforce. This position will troubleshoot and resolve escalated system issues, works with team to formulate and convey requirements to the vendor and tests applications when implementing changes, system enhancements or upgrades. Ensures system security and employee data privacy. This position will also be responsible and accountable for developing best practices throughout the HR Organization which will monitor and support the entire workforce, including: Comp and Benefits, Recruitment Selection, Onboarding, Learning and Development, Talent Management and Pipeline, HR Analytics, Regulatory Compliance, Employee Relations and Engagement, and HR Governance. This role owns responsibility to routinely update/re-align the Center of Excellence programs by planning, implementing, and evaluating processes, procedures and policies to ensure that corporate risk is mitigated and that the best employment practices are used to support the overall achievement of business operating goals and objectives. In addition, this position will be in charge of developing, implementing and maintaining HR dashboard on business intelligence tools (i.e. Qlikview, Tableau or SAP BI) to provide live snap shot to leadership on variety of parameters related to HR framework and employment laws and regulations. The position will manage the entire gamut of HR and partner with IT to set up HR processes and frameworks including HRIS systems and analytics. The position supervises 2 HR specialists and the office manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or HR. 8 yrs of exp in HR mgmt. Skills required: Experience implementing HR technology solutions (including participating in requirements gathering process for IT systems). HCM experience, including implementation, configuration skills, and ongoing maintenance strongly desired. Experience with market-based pricing, short and long term incentive administration and other compensation frameworks is required. Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly advanced Excel. Possesses knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in Human Resources and a thorough knowledge and use of HR systems and analytics. Demonstrated ability to grasp computer and other technical concepts such as databases, table-driven code and testing tools, analytics tools. Must be able to cite examples of quickly learning new technological concepts and applying them to business needs. Experience with at least one (1) Business Intelligence tool such as: SalesForce, Tableau, SQL, SQL Server, ADP data analytics, Qliksense, Business Objects. Gathering business requirements for development of reports. Dashboard development including displays and formatting. HR Process design, validation and troubleshooting. Project management experience in leading, planning, executing and maintaining a project from start to finish. Proven experience coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis. Experience working with JIRA. Expert in assessing technological solutions to meet business requirements. Prior experience leading company-wide solution implementations.
