Atrium is building tools to vastly improve the efficiency with which legal work is done, through a web-based app that will result in completing legal work faster, with fewer errors, and in a more data-driven way than traditional law firms. Our initial focuses are on products that serve startups end to end on venture financings, drafting & negotiating commercial contracts, and assisting with general corporate legal needs. With these products, Atrium has helped hundreds of clients raise over $600M in venture capital.

As the Lead Technical Recruiter, you'll get to build and run the tech recruiting team. You'll partner directly with the Heads of Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) to scale our EPD teams. Success in this role directly impacts Atrium’s ability to differentiate itself from other law firms.

What would you be doing?

    • Develop relationships with the engineering and product orgs to understand their needs and create data- and results-driven partnerships
    • Lead and grow a small recruiting team to meet our aggressive hiring goals in a fast-paced, start-up environment
    • Sourcing is a critical piece of the recruiting strategy, so while you'll work with a Sourcer, you’ll learn Atrium's value prop in order to confidently source, engage, and nurture passive and active top technical talent
    • Phone screen candidates for a variety of roles and levels with focus on moving quality through the pipeline over quantity
    • Uphold data integrity to produce reports, draw insights, and make changes in your process while keeping management informed
    • Create a recruitment experience where all candidates feel amazing about their time with Atrium and your hiring teams are delighted!

What does success look like in this role?

    • 5-10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with at least 2 recent years hiring software engineers (designers and product managers a plus) in the Bay Area at a tech company
    • Ability to understand and explain technical requirements for engineering roles across the stack
    • Confidence using an outbound sourcing strategy and innovative techniques on a variety of platforms and tools to effectively engage diverse and senior-level engineering talent
    • Willingness to try fresh, innovative approaches to iterate on and drive results - you rely on data
    • Excellent communication skills - you actively listen, collaborate well, and act on feedback
    • Rigorous attention to detail and organization - you provide a great experience to candidates and hiring teams alike
    • A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, good judgment, and integrity to reach aggressive goals while demonstrating a “sense of urgency” and ownership
