Tonal is looking for a Product Manager who’s passionate about strength training to own Membership. For customers, the Tonal Membership is a monthly subscription that includes the expert coaching and guidance, personalization and intelligence that makes Tonal the world’s most intelligent fitness system. Your role is to drive retention of our customers. In this role you will collaborate with Marketing, Content, Design, and Engineering to define the Membership offering and roadmap, and execute on initiatives to drive engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

What You Will Do

  • Understand Tonal users, their journey, and what motivates them to engage, retain, and drive positive word of mouth.
  • Partner with Analysts and Engineering to analyze data and develop insights that inform our strategy and priorities.
  • Define a Membership engagement and retention strategy and priorities in collaboration with Design, Marketing, and Content.
  • Identify key moments in the user journey to drive delight, referrals, and conversion, and retention.
  • Identify and define opportunities to drive user engagement through features and content, in and outside the product and companion mobile app.
  • Communicate strategy and roadmap to senior management and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Work with Marketing, Design, Content, and Engineering to develop and ship features and content that drive retention.

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years product management experience in an agile development environment
  • Experience owning a paid/premium consumer membership service with high retention
  • Must have experience understanding and driving user engagement
  • Equal parts data-driven and experience-minded
  • Able to think both strategically and tactically
  • Able to break down complex issues into actionable plans 
  • Self-motivated with a track record of taking ownership, driving results, ensuring customer delight
  • Excellent communicator
  • Experience with statistical analysis a plus
