Position Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, rigorous and meticulous assembly technician to assist with building nets as well as other items in our engineering facility. You will be working directly with a fast paced, diverse team of engineers who are passionate about their work. Daily tasks will primarily center around assembling, inspecting, modifying and repairing precision electro-mechanical products. 

This position will report to the Senior Engineering Technician, and occasionally the Vice President of Engineering

 

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to learn and be able to follow instructions.
  • Experience with working around electro-mechanical products.
  • Knowledge of a diverse range of assembly techniques and equipment like torque wrenches, calipers, loctite and epoxy.
  • Familiarity with reading mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly instructions in order to build products.
  • Able to work with a team and not be afraid to ask for help.
  • Uphold high workmanship standards - careful attention to detail is a must.
  • A patient personality for when things don't go as planned.

 

Nice to have...

  • Prior experience with working in a start-up company
  • Experience with wire routing and connectorizing cables.
  • Experience with working with carbon fiber.
  • Experience with viewing 3D CAD data

You will be working from our San Leandro office daily around a friendly and diverse set of staff.  You willhave access to a fully stocked kitchen, catered lunches and you can participate as a team member in Company events and outings. We will assign you a computer workstation and tools as needed and necessary to complete the job. 

 

Compensation: $TBD per hourwhich will be paid semi-monthly in accordance with the Company’s normal payroll procedures.
