About Our Role

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Billing & Collections Analyst is responsible for our end to end order to cash cycle. You will coordinate with our Advertising Operations team during month end to successfully bill our clients in a timely and accurate manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining our accounts receivable aging, collecting from past due accounts and partnering with Sales to improve our DSO. You will recommend best practices and process improvements as well as participate in system integrations and our ERP implementation.


  • Process monthly invoicing within Quickbooks Online and ensure invoices are appropriately posted and delivered to customers in a timely manner following month end.
  • Own the accounts receivable and collections process, and partner with customers and account managers to ensure payments are received in a timely manner, with an emphasis on resolving past due accounts and billing disputes in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate daily cash postings.
  • Work closely with the revenue team to help improve overall processes, driving efficiency and improvement/monitoring of internal controls for tasks within and related to the billing and collections cycle.
  • Manage and resolve client chargeback disputes in Stripe.
  • Assist with month end close, audit requests and ad hoc projects.
  • Act as a liaison with external customers and internal stakeholders (Sales Ops, Account Management, Client Partners).
  • Engage in special projects and serve as the billing and collections subject matter expert to drive system or process enhancements.

  • 4+ years of billing, collections, AR operations experience
  • Prior experience in digital advertising industry required
  • Knowledge of revenue accounting is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Working knowledge of Quickbooks Online and SFDC a plus
  • Demonstrates ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and customer service skills are required
  • Solid planning and prioritization skills. Demonstrates high energy with the ability to remain flexible and change priorities in a challenging and fast-paced environment
