Software Engineer
This is an incredible opportunity for the right person. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a high quality, must-have product. Who is hands-on in exercising product features and automating the process with Python. You will co-own the test automation infrastructure, and ensure smooth product experience for our customers.
You will own the quality of several distinct system components as well as sharing the responsibility for the complete system. You will spend time in understanding the desired behavior of the system components, design ingenious test cases, prepare test harness with well-planned data, implement and execute effective test scripts. You will also spend significant amount of time in reporting issues discovered, working with senior engineers on solving them, and verify the resolution.
You will not be starting from scratch. We have a good framework in place already, and you will be working with a great team of software engineers. Our company culture emphasis on work ethics and results. We have very little room for office politics.

Your Responsibilities
Own​: Product verification plans that included test case design, setup, scripts coding and execution. Report, document, and provide detailed information for issues discovered. Support and working with responsible engineers to resolve the issues.
Contribute​: Customer satisfaction on the production systems. From spotting issues impacting users early, to provide useful information in trouble-shooting. Anything that create smooth user experiences with our services.
Deliver​: Confidence of the production system. You ensure that issues that may/will impact user experience are visible to senior management before deploying to production.
Influence: ​Product usability, design, and supportability. You will participate deeply in the design phase of new features and influence how the product is built and improved.
·       Proficiency in using Python to automate REST API verification
·       Experienced with cloud-based microservices architecture and associated ecosystem
·       Knowledge and experience with Machine Learning, Elasticsearch, SQL, and Kubernetes are nice to have
·       Experience with Selenium-based verification of web-based user interface is nice to have.
·       Self-driven, results-oriented mentality with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·       Logical and straight thinking, good in verbal and written communication
·       B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent that gained from actual work experience
