The Pill Club is expanding, and looking for a full-time experienced Credentialing and Licensing Specialist to initiate and maintain active license status for the organization and employees in multiple states. They will work closely with regulatory agencies (i.e.; Medicaid, state boards) to provide forms and supporting documentation to guarantee licenses and renewals are current to continue business operations.

Ideal Candidate Should Be:


    • Proficient in current technology, including Google Drive, Microsoft Word/Excel
    • Self-driven and effective at multitasking and prioritizing
    • Detail-oriented
    • Team player and problem solver
    • Strong communicator in sending written emails and making phone calls
    • Knowledge of state and federal regulations and accreditation standards



    • Manage and maintain employee licensing for pharmacy staff
    • Monitor staff licensing for upcoming renewals/expiration dates
    • Perform and document primary source validation for staff professional licensing at hire
    • Perform and document primary source validation for staff professional licensing annually (at minimum)
    • Perform and document OIG check at hire
    • Perform and document staff OIG checks monthly
    • Assist with the management of facility licensing compliance
    • Manage requirements and permits for all 50 states
    • Maintain online regulatory accounts (NCPDP, NPI, Medicaid, PECOS, etc.)
    • Assure all pharmacy sites keep an active status
    • Assist with the management of credentialing applications for contracts with pharmacy benefit managers
    • Maintain and submit copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, liability insurance, and any other required credentialing documents
    • Contact payers to check on contract status
    • Assist with pharmacy compliance projects as assigned
    • Internal and external pharmacy audits
    • Monitoring federal/state regulatory changes for pharmacy impact
    • Assist with pharmacy accreditations (URAC, VIPPS, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • 3 years of healthcare experience

Desirable Qualifications:


    • 3 years of pharmacy credentialing experience
    • 2 years of managed care experience
