Role Mission
The mission of the BizOps Associate is to help Canva make great decisions, manage and execute on key business initiatives and operating cadences across the company, and support our go-to-market teams with analytical insights and best practices development.

What you'll do:

  • Build and own bottoms-up modeling to help go-to-market teams plan for and execute on initiatives in sync with company priorities
  • Partner with senior leadership to scope and implement operational improvements or perform analysis to inform strategic decision-making, such as size of prize / customer segmentation, funnel visibility, and unit economics
  • Project manage complex, cross-functional projects and see them through completion, including business technology needs, international strategy, and board presentations
  • Exercise sound business judgment to prioritize opportunities across impact and feasibility

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years experience ideally within a relevant field such as Consulting, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking or within a B2B SaaS company.
  • Business insight / judgement: ability to prioritize focus of effort and inquiry with an eye to business impact / outcomes
  • Communication skills: ability to communicate complex concepts and quantitative insights concisely, with actionable so-what
  • Analytical skills: ability to earn the respect of senior leadership and operating teams by translating strategic concepts to operational implications
  • Project management firepower: ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and see them through completion at a high level of quality, on-time, and with high satisfaction from all stakeholders
  • Integrity and trustworthiness
