Atrium Fundraise Concierge is a business advisory practice that works with venture-backed startups to supercharge their fundraising efforts. We have seasoned entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in-house that help clients refine their pitch, improve their due diligence, and meet investors. Our Fundraise Concierge group is growing rapidly and the interest in our services is strong and increasing. Our startups raise more money from the right investors and at better valuations because of the strategic approach that we take with them.  It is up to us to deliver on this value.
 
The Fundraising Strategist for Fundraise Concierge will help guide startup founders thru the overall fundraising process, beginning to end, for Series A and B.  This is a dream job for anyone who is passionate about the startup ecosystem. You will sit at the nexus between VC firms and startup entrepreneurs. You’ll work closely with a wide breadth of startup founders to refine and enhance their existing narrative, and build strong relationships with VC firms to connect founders.

What will you be doing?

    • Assist growing startups with refining, simplifying, and clarifying their fundraising narratives
    • Connect startup founders with potential investors (VCs, corporates, strategics, family offices, angel investors)
    • Help guide the founder from beginning to end in their fundraising process. Be the main source for all process and strategy considerations of the fundraising process and help refine the investor list or process as necessary to maximize fundraising outcomes.  Be their source of guidance and sounding board when they have questions about best practices, term sheets, negotiations, investors backgrounds/interests.  
    • Cultivate and expand Atrium’s reach with investors of all kinds that would be of interest to our clients by creating relationships with them and researching information for our clients where possible.

What does success look like in this role?

    • Experience in fundraising; you have gone thru the fundraising process previously as a founder or have helped guide other startups through it in a consultative role.  Startup founder experience preferred.
    • Strong understanding of the difference between seed, Series A, and Series B and how that will impact the founder and their narrative 
    • Deep understanding of what investors are seeking in a pitch and the ability to guide, refine, simplify, and clarify the narrative
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); you are well-poised and have the ability to build interpersonal relationships and communicate with founders, partners and VCs
    • Passion for startup ecosystem and client service, including an ability and drive to deliver superior customer service
    • Possess a good network within startups and VCs.  Must be able to communicate with existing investor/founder network for our clients
