Overview
 
 
Tonal’s People Team provides leadership for initiatives that support talent, performance, change management, new leader coaching, organizational design, and employee relations. As Tonal’s HRBP of Retail, you will serve as the liaison between our People and Retail teams and deliver strategic, tactical HR support. You’ll use your unique blend of entrepreneurial spirit to build creative, scalable solutions that align our people and places. This Part-Time (15-25 hours/week) role reports to the Head of People and works alongside the Retail Team. 
 
 
What You Will Do
 
  • Be a thought partner to the Director of Retail by providing strategic guidance and tactical support as we expand our retail operations across multiple locations
  • Onboard newly hired retail leadership and team members in Tonal policy and benefits
  • Expand HR tools, processes, and guidelines within our retail operations that reflect current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends
  • Partners with Retail Management on recruiting needs, documentation, and communication of HR policies and procedures
  • Advises Retail Management on HR best practices, including performance management
  • Manage, mediate, and resolve employee relations issues and conducts thorough, objective investigations as needed

  • Prior experience in retail required
