Your Role


You will be in charge of creating beautiful and precise real-time mission-critical UAV flight control software. You will also be providing guidance to junior engineers and overseeing the day-to-day tasks of the Flight Team.


Must-Have Experience


Experience in C/C++

Comfortable working in a Linux environment

Experience in 6 DOF dynamic modeling

Experience in Stability Analysis (Bode plot, Gain and Phase Margin)

Experience in Classical and Modern Control Theory

Experience in Flight Control System (Manned or Unmanned)




Intimate knowledge in UAV technology

Understanding of common communication protocol (Mavlink, Arinc429 ... etc)

Sensor Processing(LIDAR, Radar,  IMU, Camera)

Filtering (EKF, UFK, Particle Filter)

Guidance Algorithms

Experience in Robotics/Probabilistic Models/Statistical Signal Processing

Experience in State Estimation/Prediction and SLAM

Experience in Path Planning, Localization, and Navigation of UAV.

Familiarity with multiple autopilots (Piccolo, Pixhawk, DJI, etc)




PhD/Masters in Robotics/Aeronautics or equivalent with 8-12 years’ experience and a good understanding of cutting-edge technologies in Robotics and Control Theory/Flight Dynamics preferred.

Natural coder and a quick thinker that has worked with or lead several high performing teams

Relevant projects/thesis are taken into consideration.

Self-motivated and independent - comfortable with constructively challenging consensus, overcoming problems and developing innovative solutions.

Calm, clear, and concise communication skills.

$TBD per hour, which will be paid semi-monthly in accordance with the Company’s normal payroll procedures. Obviously: medical, dental, vision, vacation, health and wellness, and stock options are part of the package.
