Location: San Leandro, CA

 

Position Description:

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, rigorous and skilled intern to help us with flight stack software. Daily responsibilities will primarily center around:

Adding features to the flight software stack.

Adding features to our existing simulator.

Working on cutting edge technologies of product development.

 

Qualifications:

 

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

Experience in C/C++ programming.

Proficient with Linux (Ubuntu 18.04+) environment.

Familiarity with multithreading programming.

Relevant projects/thesis is taken into account.

Clear, calm, concise communication skills (verbal & written).

 

Authorized to work in the US.

 

Nice to have…

 

Knowledge of flight control autopilot systems such as Pixhawk.

Object Oriented Programming Paradigm Knowledge.

Experience in Python.

You will be working from our San Leandro office daily around a friendly and diverse set of staff. You will have access to a fully stocked kitchen, catered lunches and you can participate as a team member in Company events and outings. We will assign you a computer workstation and tools as needed and necessary to complete the job.

 

Compensation: $TBD per hour, which will be paid semi-monthly in accordance with the Company’s normal payroll procedures.
