As a key member and leader of the Corporate Accounting team, this professional will own the overall management and integrity of the Company’s accounting operations and related financial and management reporting functions worldwide.


What You’ll Do


  • Hands-on leadership to the accounting operations, close and financial reporting functions
  • In-depth operational knowledge of the business to monitor, influence and impact the financial performance of the Company
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP including revenue recognition, leases and equity. Preparation of technical position memos including impact to financial and system controls
  • Design, implement and manage policies and procedures with respect to revenue recognition, royalties, expenditures, cash management, payroll, leases, month-end close, and other key accounting processes
  • Lead the cash management and forecasting process
  • Lead the execution of year-end audit procedures in partnership with the auditors
  • Design and implement informative financial reports to meet the needs of the business
  • Provide analysis on financial results (actual vs. budget, trends, KPIs, benchmarks)
  • Evaluate the accounting, controls and financial reporting impact of operational decisions
  • Hands-on partner to FP&A for business planning, financial forecasting, budgets and management reporting activities
  • Lead the design and implementation of financial systems solutions
  • Drive to continuously improve the accounting operations, controls and financial reporting processes
  • Assist internal departments with accounting and reporting related matters
  • Own income and transaction-based tax compliance and equity accounting
  • Mentor, coach and develop the accounting team
  • Support ad hoc projects assigned from time to time 


About You


  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in public/corporate accounting
  • Strong financial systems background (NetSuite, ShareWorks, ADP a plus)
  • Ability to mine, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail a must
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with senior managers and cross-functional teams
  • Results oriented. “Let’s get stuff done” attitude
  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
