Come be a part of a team of designers passionate about creating beautiful and inspiring design experiences for a multi-platform home fitness product. As a Growth Marketing Designer at Tonal, you will be a part of the larger design team working on creative solutions for Tonal’s marketing efforts. Your work will tell our story and help refine the Tonal brand across the digital and physical world. Your primary focus will be in our email, web, and landing page marketing efforts.

This is a pivotal role on the design team – you should be comfortable engaging with the strategic dimension of work, be strong on content as well as visuals. Your contributions will be just as much to the strategic thinking and rationale behind creating ideas as in executing them. You must be able to make confident design decisions and be smart and persuasive in bringing others with you. You will help create the Tonal experience in both the digital and physical world. 

What You’ll Do
  • Conceptualize and craft beautiful brand experiences that push the Tonal brand identity into the future across digital, social, and other content development
  • Generate designs that communicate initial ideas and deliver flawless executions across every marketing touchpoint
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external designers, illustrators, motion designers, project leads, front-end engineers, photographers, and vendors
  • Balance a workload of multiple projects from concept to completion
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to present compelling, immersive stories
  • Take complex concepts and large amounts of data and bring them to life simply and beautifully
  • Identify new emerging opportunities to activate our brand and engage with our community

Who You Are
  • At least 3 years of design experience at a top branding agency, advertising agency, or in-house with a leading consumer brand
  • A highly polished visual portfolio of design work that spans design disciplines
  • Up-to-date with all current design technologies and web standards.
  • Experience working on responsive web design and collaborating with front end engineers
  • Passion and ability for branding and visual identity systems. You have an understanding of how to build a brand from the ground up
  • Be precious with your work but flexible enough to understand that business goals sometimes require compromise. You can present, take feedback, and communicate ideas effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Must be a self-motivated and positive person that collaborates well with others. Your attitude is infectious and gratitude is admirable
  • Ideally, you have experience and passion for fitness, health, sports, retail, and technology 
  • You live and breathe design and creative culture including the newest trends from music to art to architecture to digital trends to meme culture across all applications and mediums

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fine Arts or Communication Design, but a portfolio is more important than your degree so bring us your best!
