As the first Sales Development Manager at Atrium, you will inherit a team of high-performing Sales Development Representatives. Your charge is to accelerate Atrium’s growth through improving how clients learn about and purchase our services.
 
Your success will mean that Atrium has a full pipeline of qualified leads by giving our prospective clients an incredible experience from their first touchpoint with our Growth team. You will manage all aspects of inbound and outbound lead development and maintain a strong relationship with both Sales and Marketing leaders.
 
This role will report directly to the VP of Sales and have high visibility within Atrium. You will be given access to the resources and mentors to grow at an extremely fast pace, you will be given targets that are aggressive but rational/achievable, and you will work in a team that truly cares about each other.

What will you be doing?

    • Execute on strategy to achieve quarterly Sales Qualified Lead targets
    • Build, develop, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives
    • Continue to iterate and improve sales process over time
    • Create a plan to stratify the sales team and assign territories as the team scales
    • Work collaboratively with Marketing to create and execute a winning full-funnel strategy
    • Be a leader within the broader company

What does success look like in this role?

    • 3+ years managing Sales or Business Development Representatives
    • 2+ years as an Account Executive or Sales/Business Development Representative
    • Influential people management experience; you love coaching and you inspire people to perform at their best
    • Excellent communication skills; you are well-poised and have the ability to build interpersonal relationships and communicate with executives, VCs, lawyers, and engineers
    • Performance and metrics driven; you have a consistent track record of achieving and exceeding personal and team sales goals
    • Strong understanding of venture capital and startup ecosystem
