Platform and Use Cases. Brandcast is a code-free, enterprise scale platform. Its products are used by enterprises for a wide spectrum of use cases, from corporate, product and event websites to franchise / distributor sites, web books, digital sales proposals, landing pages, and customer portals. 
 
Customer Implementations. Brandcast customer implementations range from a Health & Nutrition retailer with 7,000 distributors and 8,500 websites to leaders in commercial real estate with hundreds of offices and thousands of property listings, to individual and group websites in industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, and Management Consulting. Design-Forward / Design-Thinking. Brandcast focuses heavily on design-thinking and creating extraordinary user experiences.  Attention to every detail of the UX when delivering and iterating on our product is key to our success. This role is specifically for someone with a passion for product innovation, market disruption, streamlining user workflows, and creating iconic UI and UX experiences.  
 
Strategic Partners & API. Brandcast is also cultivating a technology partnership with Salesforce, via the Brandcast API, to enable Salesforce and its large enterprise customers to generate websites from their own indiginous data infrastructure and systems. 
 
Responsibilities. Brandcast’s Director of Product Management is responsible for partnering with Product Marketing and our other Commercial Team stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of customer needs, the competitive landscape, and market opportunities for new products and features. The Director is also expected to work closely with Customer Success to understand the strengths and weaknesses of our products in the real-world crucible of daily customer use. Finally, the role’s primary focus is to collaborate closely with Brandcast’s Engineering and Product Design team to develop in-depth product specifications, a clear product roadmap, and a well defined Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
 

More specifically, this includes:

 

    • UI/UX - Collaborate with our chief product designer in developing specs, prototypes, and in-depth user testing
    • Roadmap - Manage company roadmap; take feedback from stakeholders and communicate product priorities both from commercial team to engineering and vice versa
    • Product Specs - Prime the engineering team by delivering bulletproof product specs and user stories
    • Analytics - Deeply analyze usage data to find rough edges, onboarding shortcomings and opportunities to increase engagement as well as measure the success of product initiatives
    • User Testing - Work with our product designer to execute user testing; sourcing candidates, running sessions and issuing reports
    • Business Priorities - Translate business direction from CEO and commercial team into tangible product priority and execution
    • Documentation - Develop product documentation, example designs, template sites, videos, or tutorials as needed to improve user engagement
    • Customer Interaction - Assist the commercial team by meeting with customers or providing product and roadmap clarification

Requirements:

 

    • Deep experience delivering an enterprise-class commercial platform in a product role
    • Demonstrated ability to work well with both technical and non-technical collaborators
    • Excellent technical and non-technical writing skills
    • Significant experience writing product specificationsExperience with design and prototyping tools such as photoshop and invision
    • Familiarity with web technology (HTML, CSS, javascript)Preferred: experience in web design
