Sales Development Representative at Brandcast

About the Role

 
We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our rapidly growing sales team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, passionate about advancing their career in sales through demonstrating the ability to hit and exceed targets, and have an interest in being an instrumental player in developing the sales strategy at a startup organization.
 
As an SDR, you will be responsible for both inbound and outbound initiatives. Along with the other members of the SDR team, you will follow up on inbound demo requests and event leads, and be responsible for prospecting, cold-calling and emailing potential customers with the end goal of booking meetings for our Account Executive team.
 
As one of the founding members of the SDR team (there are currently 2 SDRs and an SDR Manager), you will work closely with the sales and marketing team. You will be a critical partner in better understanding our market, have the opportunity to provide feedback of messaging and marketing collateral, and have the ability to contribute to the Brandcast sales methodology.
 
You should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment and be willing to constantly get your hands dirty with new projects and initiatives.
 
This role will also require some travel to Brandcast sponsored events.

Responsibilities

 

    • Support the Account Executive team by booking and preparing for upcoming meetings
    • Maximize marketing efforts by contacting all inbound leads and following up on all leads generated from events
    • Prospect and identify new contacts for cold-calling and cold-email outreach
    • Work with the sales and marketing team to provide feedback on ways to optimize efficiency and further refine messaging
    • Create and revise messaging for various outbound outreach initiatives
    • Consistently meet or exceed monthly meeting targets

About You

 

    • You have a strong interest in advancing your career in sales.
    • You have a proven track record of hitting targets and/or deadlines.
    • You have past leadership, mentorship or management experience.
    • You have the organizational skills to handle a high volume of daily activity.
    • You are a team player.

Qualifications

 

    • BA/BS Degree or Equivalent
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Sales Experience a plus
    • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM a plus
    • Knowledge of marketing and sales automation tools (Hubspot, Lusha, Sales Navigator) a plus
