Technical Project Manager at Starship

Starship Technologies is developing the future of delivery: self-driving robots that bring parcels, groceries, and food to people around the world. At Starship, we are redefining how goods reach the places in which we live. We see a future where a new generation of convenience services becomes available to everyone – made possible by our awesome autonomous neighbourhood robots. We have brought together some incredible talent and have entered commercial pilots, with hundreds of robots driving along sidewalks across the United States and four countries in Europe. We believe that soon there will be thousands of our robots around the world.
 
We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager. If you are a deeply technical, metrics-minded person, who is interested in a set of different technical challenges you might be who we’re looking for to join our team of ace problem-solvers. You will dive into the most critical workstreams to lead them to success while coordinating across teams and communicating internally and externally.

      • Identifying key challenges to focus on
      • Establishing tactical and strategic problem-solving techniques
      • Communicating with key stakeholders to ensure shared understanding
      • Charting a pathway to success for internal stakeholders and external vendors
 

If you have these essential qualities, we want to talk to you:

 

      • Engineering work experience in mechanics, electronics, software or mechatronics
      • A good understanding of the product life cycle of physical products
      • Work experience in agile incremental and waterfall holistic environments
      • Previous cooperation experience with different stakeholders like business, finance, management and vendors
      • Previous project management experience
 

Experience in the following would also be ideal:

 

      • Data mining using SQL
      • Budget management
