Senior Product Manager, Growth & Referrals at Canva

The mission of Product Managers at Canva is to create the most accessible design tool for every person in the world. As a Product Manager at Canva you help set this vision, define what that future looks like, and build the products that get us there.
Product Managers collaborate with Canva’s founders to set the strategic direction, scope, and success metrics for product initiatives. We work across teams of designers, software engineers, marketers and analysts to ensure we are delivering an exceptional experience to all our users. We are responsible for implementing and collaborating on product strategy, roadmapping, and prioritisation as our product grows. 
It’s our responsibility to see products through their entire lifecycle—from concept through to validation, build, post-launch analytics and iterations. Every day is a different challenge—one day you might be in a room full of product designers preparing research and UX flows, the next you’ll be leading go-to-market efforts in collaboration with founders and other teams.
About the Activation & Engagement team
Activation and Engagement is the group at Canva who strives to ensure everyone in the world loves Canva. Referrals team are on a mission to establish the brand new acquisition channel to drive more users to Canva through incentivised referrals. We are rolling out our MVP for this new growth lever and need your help to evolve referrals and impact our ambitious MAU goals across all platforms and all markets.

You'll love this job if

  • You have 3 – 7 years of experience in a growth focussed product management role;  for a consumer facing SaaS product, related online software product or digital product.
  • You are a marketer at heart – You can demonstrate an understanding of the importance of growth, activation, and retention with respect to the platform and how that translates into user growth
  • You feel at home when using data to make decisions—whether that’s analytics, user research, survey feedback, or in-person user testing. When presented with competing imperatives and a mountain of data, you can identify and organize clear, concise actions, arriving at appealing and practical solutions to problems.
  • You can own and drive products from idea to delivery 
  • You manage cross-functional teams and backlogs like a pro
  • You can take products beyond MVP and define a clear product vision
  • You move ideas from the chaos of brainstorming and mock-ups to the clarity of execution and data impact
