We now offer this mobile advertising platform – Nimbus – as a service to third-party mobile applications to power their programmatic advertising needs.
 
 
Timehop is looking for a full-time Solutions Engineer who will play a key role in our growing organization, with a focus on the Nimbus server-to-server mobile advertising exchange.
 
 
You will play a critical part in integrating Nimbus into third party publishers’ applications. As the go-to Nimbus expert you will provide critical technical expertise during pre-sales evaluation and assist in the preparation of on-boarding new customers. You will take ownership of technical aspects from the onboarding phase through the completion of the integration phase. Customers will rely on you to troubleshoot technical problems with a mix of debugging, networking, system administration, and updating documentation. 
 
 
You will be helping external teams define how to best use our technology to fit their unique user experience and then help them implement by working through the process with our implementation teams. Our internal teams will count on you to inform them how to make our product easier to adopt by contributing to changes to the SDKs, processes and documentation. You will be working with executives, engineering team(s), sales teams, ad ops team, and more to creatively identify ways for them to solve their monetization problems in the digital media space.
 

You would be responsible for

 

    • Developing an in-depth understanding of Nimbus’s technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and informing product decisions to improve the quality of the offering
    • Managing the customer’s problems through effective technical assistance, diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of debug tools to ensure successful integration
    • Creating solutions to help our clients to realize the full potential of Nimbus’s offering while determining the best integration path for their product
    • Identifying and triaging urgent issues that may occur during the product integration and working closely with internal engineers through issue resolution
    • Understanding customer issues, thinking through creative solutions, and advocating for their needs with cross-functional teams
    • Partnering with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to solve problems and achieve objectives by sharing knowledge and information
    • Consulting and acting as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders to resolve technical obstacles and define the product roadmap 

Requirements

 

      • Minimum of 3 years similar experience
      • A passion for figuring out solutions to complex business problems faced by clients
      • Experience in advocating for customer issues or needs while informing internal product decisions
      • Familiarity with common network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS) and the use of REST APIs
      • Familiarity with iOS and Android, along with a working knowledge of mobile software development 
      • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and resolving complex technical problems
      • Strong sales acumen, promoting effective demonstration environments and effectively presenting solutions to prospective clients
      • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues and resolution via email, phone, video-conference, and in-person
      • Demonstrated ability to learn and become competent with complex products and technologies
      • Be a motivated self-starter with a proven ability to multitask
