Tonal is looking for a Retail Showroom Leader to lead our Short Hills retail store. In this role, you will be critical in executing our retail strategy in New Jersey as we expand our retail presence. You’ll be leading the sales floor, and working closely with the Retail, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to be the voice of the customers. What You Will Do
  • Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of Tonal’s product and brand image.
  • Lead and support all activities to meet showroom business goals. Accountable for all aspects of the store (scheduling, operating budget, store maintenance, sales goals, merchandising and stocking). 
  • Manage your team to develop exceptional customer relationships and promote a sales culture to build productivity.
  • Achieve growth and sales targets by successfully managing the store sales team.
  • Develop an immersive and personalized demo experience in partnership with the corporate Retail team. Discover customers’ individual needs and meet their goals with Tonal as the solution.
  • Facilitate customer relationships through discovery, purchase, product training and in-home installation. 
  • Utilize sales tools to follow-up with in-store leads and drive business, and move customers through the sales process. Train and hold sales associates accountable to customer lead follow up.
  • Recruit, interview, and select qualified candidates to build a talent pipeline to achieve business goals. Train and motivate associates through on-going programs in sales, customer service and product knowledge. 
  • Assess performance and provide on-going feedback; Complete and deliver performance appraisals and development plans. 
  • Responsible for ensuring the store meets company guidelines in operating, opening and closing procedures. Where SOP do not exist, partner with corporate retail team to develop policies and procedures. 
  • Complete daily store reporting tasks to ensure all relevant and requests data is reported in a timing manner.

Who You Are
  • Passionate about strength training, exercise, health and fitness.
  • 5+ years sales management experience in retail, fitness, service or hospitality industries
  • Ability to deliver great customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable sales results.
  • Strong verbal communication skills. You’re invigorated by interaction with customers, whether groups or individuals. You are approachable, a good listener, and an enthusiastic brand representative.
  • Flexibility, ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies. Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills. You’re organized, and you follow through on next steps.
  • Experience analyzing sales reports, identifying business trends, and reacting quickly to the needs of the business.
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly and react positively to changes in business needs and strategies.
  • Flexibility to work a standard retail schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency with Apple Products, Google Suite, and Salesforce a plus.
