Technical Recruiter at Nextdoor

We’re looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and experienced Technical Recruiter to join us in building the team here at Nextdoor. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment and have a passion for hiring on quality and building long-standing relationships in the industry.





Responsibilities:



Full-cycle recruitment for a range of technical and product development positions, across - Business Intelligence, Design, Engineering and Product Management

Work closely and cross-functionally with hiring managers to: assess recruiting needs, understand job requirements, and develop job descriptions for each position; and tailor/refine recruitment process as-needed

Build pipelines of qualified, high-caliber candidates using creative and effective sourcing strategies

Source, screen and evaluate candidates’ backgrounds, qualifications, and general culture fit for Nextdoor

Engage, contact, and manage candidate experience throughout recruitment process, through close and pre-start

Close: effectively, creatively and competitively

Track candidates through Greenhouse ATS for reporting and metrics

Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring team and candidates

Effectively communicate the Nextdoor mission, culture and roadmap to a broad range of candidates, prospects and industry professionals

Represent Nextdoor externally at recruitment events (minimal travel)





Requirements:



2+ years experience full-cycle technical recruitment for a consumer-facing technology company; previous (additional) agency experience preferred

Proven track record of hiring exceptional technical candidates across multiple disciplines

Comfort with sourcing high-performing, and high-caliber Engineers, Product Managers, Designers and Data Scientists on multiple platforms

Experience tracking/scheduling candidates through ATS (familiarity with Greenhouse is a plus)

Passion for the Nextdoor mission and vision

Extremely strong organizational, presentation and selling skills

Excellent communication: written, oral, in-person and on the phone

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

BA/BS degree
