Even before Valimail received funding, we were already protecting companies like Uber and Wix. In less than a year, we had expanded to protect global leaders like HBO, Square, Uber, OpenTable, Fenwick & West, and many others.
 
We are looking for a Sales Engineer that will be based in New York City to join our Customer Success Team who will work with customers to implement email authentication (DMARC/SPF/DKIM) for customers and grow adoption of our services. They’ll work with Email Service Providers to help customers get their emails authenticated. Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned client and drive continued value of our products and services.
 
What You’ll Be Doing
 
Pre-sales:
 
• Perform product demosMake the technical case for Valimail
• Perform authentication analysis on customer domains
• Build and maintain relationships with the customer
 
Onboarding:
 
• Manage the customer onboarding process
• Work with Third Party vendors on the customer’s behalf as necessary
• Work with internal business stakeholders to ensure email services are properly authenticated
• Ensure customer get to DMARC enforcement
 
Post Sales:
 
• Maintain relationship with customer
• Expand visibility within the customer
• Identify other business stakeholders to further embed Valimail
• Address technical issues including troubleshooting of complex issues
 
About You
 
• 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer for a SaaS company
• Experience driving technical conversations during the sales process for mid to enterprise-level clients In-depth SQL experience building queries and analyzing data
• Experience in both pre-sales activity as well as post-sales activity
• Has experience troubleshooting complex issues and identifying root causes
• You are highly technical and want to understand how things really work.
• You are highly organized and can help guide customers through the process of implementing email authentication.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Knowledge of email and email security a plus. Experience with DNS concepts and operations a plus.
