About this role
 
We’re looking for an experienced office manager to join our rapidly growing People Operations team. This role allows you to work with every department and have a direct influence on our collaborative Whisper culture. Responsibilities

  • Complete day-to-day administrative duties, office management and event coordination
  • Work as part of our PeopleOps team to develop and implement new culture initiatives
  • Collaborate with HR, Recruiting and Finance to provide a seamless onboarding for new hires
  • Serve as on-site contact for employees’ hardware and software procurement needs
  • Complete monthly receipt reconciliations for PeopleOps department credit card transactions
  • Facilitate communication between different teams and office locations to optimize integration and knowledge share
  • Order office supplies and keep office stocked with all necessary items for daily business
  • Complete daily rounds to ensure office is presentable and conference rooms are fully stocked for meetings
  • Provide occasional administrative coverage coordinating internal & external meetings, setting up video conferencing and food ordering
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all facilities vendors and address issues in a timely manner
  • Receive Emergency Response Training and oversee company wide program going forward
  • Manage Health & Wellness program, promoting work life balance and fun interactive initiatives

Qualficaitions

  • Bachelor's degree required 3+ years providing office management and/or administrative support in a fast paced environment
  • Ambitious, organized, high-energy individual, with a passion to contribute and take initiative
  • Comfortable dealing with shifting priorities and maintaining a spirit of service
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Anticipates daily challenges before they arise and proactively finds solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google apps and familiarity with Expensify and Adobe
  • Event planning or community building experience is a plus
