What you’ll do
 
  • Partner with designers and product teams to take user needs and business goals and turn them into thoughtful, effective user experiences
  • Translate complex user needs into both actionable steps and foundational insights that grow our understanding of the users we build for
  • Look after the experience from start to finish: from the website to appointments with our genetic counselors, interactions with our support team, and well into helping our customers stay healthy
  • A little of everything if it’s needed - from usability studies, to foundational interviews, and satisfaction surveys
  • Carry out the research you believe will enable Color to make better products and improve the lives of the families we help
 

What we’re looking for

 
  • 5+ years of Consumer product design experience, spanning foundational, iterative, and evaluative methods
  • Action-oriented - skilled in distilling findings to create clarity and have an impact
  • Excellent communicator - able to discern the goals and concerns from different angles (design, business, user) and design studies that meet those needs
  • Collaborative approach to studies (and love for) involving the team along the way
  • Strong communication skills for articulating, discussing, and advocating for design decisions
  • Dedication to shipping the best product, within real-world constraints
  • Portfolio showcasing your work
