Product Marketing Manager (Supply Chain) at Anaplan

Anaplan is looking for a high performing Senior Product Marketing individual with Supply Chain solution experience, and strong written and oral communication skills excited to grow a career in product marketing. 

This Senior Product Marketing Manager must have relevant experience with planning, reporting and analysis solutions targeting the Supply Chain and Operations customers  The ideal candidate demonstrates strong collaborative and cross-organizational relationship skills, knows how to quickly impact the business and deliver quality insights and results while balancing multiple priorities.  The candidate can build trust and partnership with other marketing professionals as well as colleagues in product management, customer success, field and partners.

The ideal candidate brings a unique combination of business strategy, creativity, excellent communications skill, technical acumen and the ability to describe planning, reporting and analysis solutions that solve complex supply chain problems in easy to understand collateral, presentations and videos.

The position is based in San Francisco, CA.  Anaplan pays competitive salary, bonus, benefits, and equity.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide rapid but thoughtful response to field and market opportunities with positioning and sales materials, competitive intelligence and/or new product or service launches
  • Develop buyer personas and positioning for solutions as required
  • Create competitive positioning / battle-cards
  • Create compelling content (presentations, white papers, blogs etc.) in the context of how enterprise planning supports the business and/or solve business challenges
  • Develop and deliver sales enablement for global field teams
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations at events
  • Work with broader marketing team to support Public Relations, Analyst Relations & Audience Marketing strategies
  • Work with presales to develop demos, product management to build roadmap, and partner teams to develop joint solutions
  • Perform analyses including market sizing, addressable opportunity, win/loss analysis, pipeline health, competitive overview, and customer needs 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required from a competitive institution; prefer academic studies in science, math, computer science, engineering, or marketing management
  • MBA or graduate degree is preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with Supply Chain solutions
  • 10+ years of experience in technology or software company in product marketing or outbound product management roles
