Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Valimail

Valimail is looking for a strategic Product Marketing Manager to position Valimail in the marketplace and drive go-to-market initiatives.  The Product Marketing Manager will develop develop messaging and positioning, drive product launches, develop content (sales enablement and demand gen), and help manage the overall go-to-market for Valimail’s authentication product line.
 
 
The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is responsible for understanding customer needs, competition, and a mid-market as well as enterprise sales motion. The successful candidate will quickly grasp a highly technical product to successfully differentiate Valimail and support business and marketing objectives. The PMM must have a strong understanding of email, security, and IT infrastructure marketplace trends, as well as PMM fundamentals: analytics and creation of insights, voice of the customer, positioning and messaging, content development for campaigns, sales pitch deck support, and company brand development.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
 
· Determine market and product requirements
· Position Valimail and our authentication products for industry audiences
· Develop and translate customer value propositions for new and existing products
· Develop and maintain technical expertise on the products
· Develop and manage new and existing product literature and message
· Support annual product marketing plans that align with company targets.
· Review and report on market trends
· Work with Demand Gen to develop advertising and social media plan for products
· Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, R&D, Customer Service, and outside agencies in Legal,
PR, and Creative.
 
 
Required Skills
 
 
· Bachelor’s degree required, and hands on experience in product marketing
· 5 or more years of experience in product marketing management
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills  
· Strong computer skills in MS office applications and other presentation tools.
· Independent self-starter with excellent initiative with the ability to work with a diverse team on multiple
high-priority projects concurrently.
· Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
