As the Senior Brand Designer for Tonal you will partner with the Marketing Team to develop and refine the Tonal brand across the digital and physical world. We’re building an ambitious company. Our product is a blend of everything that exists in modern day consumer technology; Hardware, Software, Video Content, AI, and Machine learning. While it’s very complex behind the scenes, it’s our job as the Marketing Team to bundle it up and present Tonal’s visual and verbal design language into a simple, contemporary brand experience. And the beauty is we control the entire experience vertically.  You got it, we have retail too. The most exciting thing is you can sleep well each night knowing that our product transforms people physically and emotionally for the better. We make you healthier and stronger than you were before you met us. The product is category defining as is our approach to marketing. 
What You Will Do
  • Conceptualize and craft beautiful brand experiences that push the Tonal brand identity into the future across digital, print, physical space, events, social, and video content development
  • Generate designs that communicate initial ideas and deliver flawless executions across every marketing touchpoint that exists
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external designers, illustrators, motion designers, project leads, front-end engineers, photographers, and vendors
  • Manage and prioritize a workload of multiple projects from concept to completion
  • Collaborate with the Brand Team to present compelling, immersive stories
  • Take complex concepts and large amounts of data and bring them to life simply and beautifully
  • Translate our brand language across digital landscapes and physical spaces
  • Identify new emerging opportunities to activate our brand and engage with our community

Who You Are
  • At least 7 years of design experience at a top branding agency, advertising agency, or within a leading consumer brand
  • Extremely high polished visual portfolio of design work that spans design disciplines 
  • Strong understanding of type and color
  • Up-to-date with all current design technologies and web standards
  • Experience working on responsive web design and collaborating with front end engineers
  • Passion and ability for branding and visual identity systems. You have an understanding of how to build a brand from the ground up
  • A fast learner that enjoys working in a dynamic environment, ready to take on exciting new challenges 
  • Be precious with your work but flexible enough to understand that business goals sometimes require compromise. You can present, take feedback, and communicate ideas effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Must be a self-motivated and positive person that collaborates well with others. Your attitude is infectious and gratitude is admirable 
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for fitness, health, sports, retail, and technology

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fine Arts or Communication Design, but portfolio is more important than your degree so bring us that fire
