Atrium processes thousands of sensitive legal documents daily. Our clients place a great deal of trust in us, so security is a cornerstone of our product and service offerings. As the first Security Engineer at Atrium, you will shape Atrium’s security posture and help establish a security-first culture across all parts of the organization.

What will you be doing?

    • Partner with a rapidly growing engineering and product team to ensure that new products and features are shipped with security as a top of mind concern
    • Work at the application code level to ensure that code is safe for deployment and adheres to security best practices and standards
    • Work at the infrastructure level to ensure that services and data are secured with configuration and encryption best practices
    • Develop security tools and processes that enhance other engineers' ability to develop safe and secure applications

Successful candidates will have:

    • 2+ years of experience with web application security best practices
    • Demonstrated work experience both building and breaking tools, and instilling security best-practices in engineering teams
    • Experience with pen testing and security management tools
    • 2+ years of experience with Python or Ruby
    • 2+ years of experience with AWS and Docker, including the architecture and configuration of web application and microservice architectures
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • (Optional) Experience working alongside a compliance team or participating in compliance programs like SOC 2
