Senior Product Designer at Atrium LTS
San Francisco, CA, US
Atrium is the most data-driven platform providing legal services and applications to fast-growing companies. Atrium has helped hundreds of companies with everything from drafting and reviewing commercial contracts to raising over $500M in new capital. We’re based in San Francisco and have $75.5M in funding from top investors including Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst, Y Combinator, SV Angel, Greylock, and more. Atrium aims to disrupt Big Law and the $160 billion corporate legal services market.
We’re seeking a product designer to join our fast-growing engineering, product, and design (EPD) team. You’ll work in an industry that has been underserved by design and technology by turning complex, manual work into elegantly-crafted solutions that are exponentially more intuitive and efficient than established processes. As an early member of Atrium’s EPD team, you’ll have an opportunity to shape Atrium’s design language and brand, help grow our product and design team, and build the future of legal services for clients and legal professionals.

What would you be doing?

    • Partner with dedicated engineering & AI teams, and a full-time staff of lawyers and paralegals to develop innovative tools for legal services. We’re setup differently than any law firm in existence.
    • Design flows and experiences that make complex legal services simple and delightful
    • Contribute to our product design language, both in style & structure
    • Dig into established processes by empathizing with end users (attorneys and clients) through user research, then find ways to make them better
    • Schedule and run your own designs tests with real clients to validate your designed hypothesis
    • Lead with insights into customer behavior, and help the product & engineering teams build the right solution at the right time
    • Establish adoption, engagement, and efficiency metrics for products you help create

What does success look like in this role?

    • 5+ years of UX and product design experience spent working on complex, web-based products
    • Experience doing interview-driven customer research, and synthesizing the results
    • A clear sense of good visual design and an ability to work within component-based design systems
    • Experience working with PMs from research phases of a project all the way through delivery to engineering
    • Understanding of complex workflows designed to scale from novice to advance users of legal services
    • Experience working in fast-paced and execution-focused continuous delivery environments
    • A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, and integrity to reach your goals, demonstrating a sense of urgency and ownership.

What would you get from Atrium?

    • The rare opportunity to join one of the hottest SF startups with $65M in new funding. We're not just another legal tech company disrupting a traditional industry, we're transforming how legal services are provided!
    • Top-tier mentorship from experienced founders, including Justin Kan
    • Competitive compensation and sweet perks like catered lunch daily, Bevi machine, endless coffee, and snacks
    • San Francisco office across from 4th & King CalTrain with large private patio and views of downtown
