Lead Designer at RDMD
San Francisco, CA, US

At RDMD, our mission is to empower patients to accelerate drug development for rare diseases. There are 7,000 rare diseases that affect 30 million people in the US, yet 95% of diseases have no FDA approved therapies. We are tackling this massive problem head-on by enabling patients to generate evidence that can be used to support new drug approvals in their disease.

Everyone at RDMD is driven by a deep commitment to our mission, a passion for tackling complex problems, and an interest in constantly learning how things can be improved. We’re looking for our first designer to help us design and launch new products across our entire portfolio of products for patients, researchers, and biopharmaceutical partners.

As Lead Designer, you will shape how we build a seamless product that serves patients, researchers, and biopharmaceutical companies with your world class design skills and creative direction. You will inspire those around you, working closely with product, engineering, marketing, research, sales, and operations teams. You will help to build a product that inspires rare disease patients to accelerate and unblock research in their own rare conditions. We’re looking for a seasoned designer who thrives in ambiguity, deeply understands and can champion our users, and designs solutions that are equally thoughtful, elegant, and delightful.
