As a Marketing Operations Manager you will own key part of the go-to-market strategies, tools, and insights to enable the company to reach e-commerce executives at consumer brands. You should be someone with demonstrated passion for consumer brands, ecommerce, and/or marketing.

What the role is all about?

We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager who is excited to build out and rapidly scale our marketing automation systems and processes. As part of the Marketing  team, you'll be centrally involved at the intersection of the marketing, sales, and customer success functions to help drive our global Go-To-Market efforts.

 

This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to execute along technical, analytical, operational and tactical dimensions amidst complex and rapidly changing business needs. This role will be integral to CommerceIQ™’s success and is a unique opportunity to join a mission focused, fast-paced, smart and fun team.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Work across multiple functions, product lines, and geographies to own, improve, and execute on our marketing operations processes
  • Build, scale, and maintain the integrity of our martech stack, including SFDC, Hubspot, Google Analytics, Drift, Outreach.io and more
  • Own our Salesforce CRM and Hubspot instances including database health, data acquisition and flow across systems, automation logic, forms/form handlers, segmentation, campaign management, and list management
  • Define and deliver core business metrics, dashboards, reporting and analytics on demand gen activities and funnel performance across all business lines
  • Closely partner with our email marketing and web development team members to execute demand generation activities
  • Collaborate with GTM teams to continually improve marketing effectiveness and our lead pipeline, including optimization, testing, targeting, lead scoring, and nurture cadences
  • Champion and facilitate cross-functional business processes to help maintain alignment throughout a rapidly changing business environment

The role will own 4 specific areas:

  • Creation, updation, cleanup, and maintenance of accounts, opportunities, leads, contacts, campaigns, reports, etc. within Salesforce CRM 
  • Integration of Salesforce with other marketing tools such as Hubspot, Outreach.io, Drift etc.
  • TAM (accounts and contacts) database development and maintenance and their integration into Salesforce CRM
  • Ability to evaluate, recommend, onboard and implement new marketing tools and technologies

 

Desired Experience 

7-10 Years of marketing operations experience and exceptional results in marketing B2B products at a SaaS company across Enterprise, Small and Medium sized business. 

 

  • Extensive hands-on experience managing a Salesforce CRM based martech stack, including marketing automation tools such as Hubspot, Pardot, Outreach.io, Drift etc. You are the go to person for marketing operations at your company in past roles.

 

  • Successful track record of TAM database development, management, segmentation, setup, and integrations 
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with marketing automation software (Hubspot strongly preferred)
  • Strong familiarity with B2B demand gen programs within a SaaS environment, lead lifecycles and direct marketing principles and strategy
  • Experience working with remote sales and marketing teams

 

  • Experience in and/or passion for e-commerce or ad tech companies is a huge plus

Required Functional Competencies

Exceptional Problem Solving, Program management capabilities and track record of over delivering on measurable goals and delivering projects on time

  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platform with the ability to reassign accounts among AEs, build intermediate and advanced reports, upload leads, create, update and delete fields etc.
  • A self-starter with extensive track record of independently managing projects/work streams, being able to set deadlines and meet them consistently while working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Growth mindset with inherent curiosity and personal drive; ability to navigate ambiguity and operate independently in a fast-paced, startup environment, and quickly learn new tools and technologies, and implement them. 
  • Ability to manage marketing technology stack (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot, Drift etc.) for the company and integrate them so they work seamlessly

 

  • Experience in making data-driven decisions and driving business transformation initiatives
