ZEFR is hiring! ZEFR is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst/Manager to work within our industry leading RightsID Rights Management division. As a BI Analyst/Manager within RightsID, you’ll have the opportunity to work with social video data and performance analytics for a variety of media & entertainment partners across multiple platforms that support audio and video sharing. ZEFR’s industry-leading rights management technology, RightsID, empowers enterprise brands and media companies to protect their content while generating revenue, gaining insights and maximizing the value of their IP on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Soundcloud. Here's what you'll get to do:

  • Become an expert on the key data that exists at ZEFR
  • Research and analyze operational metrics, trends, and opportunities based on that data and create new KPIs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, manage execution, and drive delivery of projects
  • Create dashboards and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Clearly communicate analyses to senior managers to improve efficacy of product and processes
  • Help build automated reporting foundations and a culture of solving problems

Here's what we're looking for:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 - 6 years professional experience in data analysis or related field required
  • Experience writing SQL queries
  • Experience visualizing data with a BI tool (e.g. Tableau, Domo, QlikView, Looker)
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to deliver findings of analysis in a compelling way
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, startup environment
  • Proven ability and interest in developing and analyzing large, complex data sets and converting them into insights that drive business decisions at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrable organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Experience with online video and/or advertising technology fields a plus
  • Experience with social platform data or experience working for a major brand, entertainment company, network or music label a plus
  • Personal interest and familiarity with the film, TV and music industry a plus
