Director, Talent Acquisition at TigerConnect

TigerConnect is currently seeking a talented and experienced Director, Talent Acquisition to join our People Operations team.  Acting as a player-coach, the Director, Talent Acquisition will fill a variety of high-level and/or technical roles while owning overall Recruitment strategy and managing a team of Recruiters and Coordinators.  

The Director, Talent Acquisition will source, screen, and close top talent while mentoring and fostering the growth of the current team. We are looking for someone who is a natural at building relationships, able to perform in a fast-paced environment, a “born closer”, and ready to equip a highly performing team with the skills they need to be successful.  Backed by data and metrics and with a focus on candidate experience, the ideal candidate will draw on a history of previous successful experience as a Talent leader to ensure we have the team, resources, and processes to be a world-class recruiting machine and meet our hiring goals.  


What You'll Own:

  • Talent Acquisition strategy and processes. Evaluate and expand upon current practices, ensure we uphold each stage of the hiring process from role intake meeting to the early stages of on-boarding
  • Train, mentor, and retain a team of talented Recruiting professionals. Capacity plan to ensure we have adequate allocation and resources to meet our hiring goals.  Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and ownership of the Talent Acquisition function
  • Hands on Full-Cycle Recruitment of high-level roles across all departments including Engineering, Sales Marketing, Implementation, Finance, and Product
  • Conduct thoughtful candidate interviews with a spirit of curiosity.  Using mostly open ended questions, uncover ability to perform in the targeted role, alignment with core competencies, true interest in the work that needs to be done, and attachment to our mission
  • Ensure effective communication with Hiring Managers and Interview Panels; Our process should provide a thorough understanding of role requirements and ensure that the team is prepared and equipped to interview successfully while providing a positive candidate experience
  • Negotiate complex offers and close candidates by leveraging previous experience competing for talent as well as strong listening skills
  • Run Talent data and analytics on frequent basis; Report findings to senior leadership and make necessary changes. Run a team that upholds data Integrity by documenting every step and logging pertinent information
  • Candidate Experience - Ensure that everyone who interacts with our team has a positive experience and gets an authentic feel for life and culture at TigerConnect


What You Bring to the Table:

  • BA/BS Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience with full-cycle recruitment in an Agency or In-House Environment, primarily focused on in-demand technical roles and high level positions; Minimum of 3 years as Leader/Manager of Talent Acquisition
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse or similar ATS
  • Comfort with Ambiguity - Proactive and Assertive nature required
  • Dedication to upholding process with a Team Player attitude - scheduling and rescheduling are part of the job as well as ad hoc projects and initiatives
  • Knowledge and understanding of the SaaS industry and business model
  • Attentin to detail; you see what we did there and didn’t like it
  • Impeccable Follow Up and Follow Through - “no candidate left behind”
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
