As a Copywriter at Canva, it’s your mission to create content that makes complex things simple and to give ordinary people the ability to make extraordinary things. This could include copy for social advertising, branding campaigns, EDMs, landing pages, UI copy and more.

About the brand group
 
The Brand Group’s mission is to make Canva “the most-loved brand in the world”. With an internal creative team, we do this through brilliant creative executions and experimental ad placements. Our team strikes a balance between testing/iterating and “shooting from the hip”. In the next 6-12 months, we will be scaling our media spend and creative production to become a household name in America, and the world. Within the Brand and Marketing Group sit multiple teams the Copywriter will work with. Including the Ads Team, Creative Studio, Landing Pages and Digital Design.

What you'll be doing

  • Own Canva’s tone of voice, and make sure all of our channels are speaking in “Canva”
  • Work from ideation to execution form 360 campaigns to standalone landing pages
  • Produce flawless ad copy at pace for an array of paid channels including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, display, YouTube and owned channels
  • Write, review and edit persuasive sales copy for landing pages, emails, online education tutorials and other owned channels
  • Collaborate with a team of designers, videographers and performance marketers to publish lots of content at pace
  • Familiarise yourself with the performance of your work and learn for future campaigns
