About the Role

Lattice is seeking an experienced Social Media & Community Manager to develop our social and email content and be the primary coordinator of our community initiatives. You will own and execute on Lattice’s social media and community strategy so that it becomes a key driver of our growth.
 
As a member of Lattice’s Content team, you’ll develop our voice and copy strategy for social media, newsletters, and community communications. You’ll be the first line of interaction with our community, a major contributor to our content, and an integral part of bringing Lattice’s mission to life. And you’ll work with stakeholders across our internal teams to develop and drive our overall social media and community campaigns and develop channel-specific initiatives to effectively share content with our social and community audiences.
 
On the community management side of your role, you’ll focus heavily on managing our Resources for Humans HR Slack community, helping attract and engage followers and members. You’ll also handle the monthly newsletters You’ll keep the team up to date with topics that those important members are talking about, and work closely with the rest of the Content team to incorporate those insights into our evolving strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective and engaging content across multiple social channels, in a variety of formats from written to visual to video and more.
  • Manage social media communities by curating, scheduling and responding to daily posts across LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram, maintaining the appropriate brand voice and growing following and engagement on all platforms. Collaborate closely with internal design and video teams to create dynamic assets for posts.
  • Manage all needs around our community newsletter, including writing the content, selecting stories, including needs from around the company to include, build out in our newsletter tool, and track performance.
  • Create and maintain a social media and community calendar, which will help us stay on top of culturally relevant moments that align with our brand and create content that enables Lattice to take part in timely conversations.
  • Perform daily community management needs around our Resources for Humans Slack community, including handling membership requests, answering user questions, stoking conversation, managing the community job board and more.
  • Manage Lattice’s presence on external review sites like G2 Crowd by facilitating our review generation process and creating collateral to tell how users feel about the product.
  • Determine ideal social OKRs, monitor performance, optimize content and distribution in response to that data.
  • Utilize appropriate measurement tools to assess the effectiveness, reach, and impact of social media and community programs compared to our goals and monitors the sentiment of online content.
  • Think critically, measure, and leverage information about online conversations as well as analytics data to make insightful recommendations to cross-functional partners around the product and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Customer Success teams to create social media content that inspires, builds awareness, and positions Lattice as a thought leader.

Qualifications

  • B.A. / B.S. degree
  • 3+ years of in-house or agency experience (marketing and social media experience for a SaaS technology company strongly preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience developing organic content and programs that drive measurable audience growth and user engagement
  • Strong editing and copywriting skills
  • Proficient with all contemporary social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest) and scheduling tools
  • Ability to manage multiple social media and community platforms in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment, build excellent rapport with internal teams
  • Understanding of how to leverage analytics tools to gather, monitor, analyze, and interpret metrics and gather insights from the data
  • Self-starter with the ability to fairly autonomously manage multiple projects simultaneously on established timelines
