Nextdoor is looking for full-stack engineers to build our platform for Public Agencies in Boulder, CO. Thousands of public agencies use Nextdoor to create stronger and safer communities. Our unique mapping capabilities enable public agencies to deliver pertinent, relevant, and critical information to residents. You’ll work with partnership experts, product and design specialists, and several engineering teams to build communication tools that connect public officials with neighbors. Responsibilities: 

  • Full-stack application and infrastructure development in a variety of languages, including but not limited to Python, Javascript, and Go
  • Work in cross-functional, agile teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant technical discipline
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
  • Strong coding abilities. Python and javascript preferred
  • SQL knowledge. Postgresql preferred
  • Collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic startup environment
  • Desire to learn about new technologies and systems
  • Experience with React and/or Django preferred
  • Nice to have: iOS, Android, data engineering experience
