We automate e-commerce growth more than 500 major brands including many of Amazon’s most successful 1P seller such as Kimberly-Clark, Kelloggs, Logitech, Nestle, Kraft, and more.

 

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Demand Generation will lead a team tasked with demand generation and marketing funnel optimization. Using both outbound marketing with a focus on account based marketing and inbound marketing with a focus on search engine optimization, social media, landing page conversion testing, online advertising, and email marketing, you will grow our database and overall company revenues. Other functions of your team would include marketing operations, digital marketing and content marketing.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

Lead a team of marketers to drive key business metrics including leads, MQLs, SQLs and Opportunities. 

Improve operational processes and reporting related to demand generation programs to measure effectiveness, performance and ROI of marketing spend

Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing automation system (i.e., Marketo) to better nurture leads, increase conversion rates to marketing qualified leads and improve the integrity of the overall database

Build demand generation systems and processes to enable a predictable and repeatable demand model which scales to meet CommerceIQ’s rapid revenue growth targets 

Grow the team through hiring and training. 

Set team strategy through analysis of historical marketing data. 

Analyze campaign outcomes in detail, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate sound decision making 

Own relationship with sales and forge strong communication and service level agreement (SLA) between marketing and sales. 

Forecast and present to senior management and help the CMO achieve greater marketing success.

 

Requirements:

 

BA/BS or equivalent working experience.

Leadership experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Expert in end-to-end inbound marketing, including HubSpot’s smart content, smart lists, and other lifecycle stage optimization tactics. As owner of the marketing funnel, you must know what makes it generate customers.

8-10 years of experience in demand generation with B2B SaaS organizations

Skilled at developing, executing, and measuring innovative and results-focused demand programs and campaigns

Demonstrated analytical ability, specifically around program measurement and ROI, and program execution skills

Proven experience in managing the creation of marketing materials

Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail

Knowledge and hands-on experience with popular marketing automation and sales automation systems, particularly Marketo and Salesforce.com
