About Our Role:


Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Accounting Operations, you will be a key part of our procure-to-pay team. You will be responsible for executing against best practices with a global internal customer service mindset.  This role will play an integral part in day-to-day operations and accounting close with opportunities to participate in ad hoc projects and process improvements. 




  • Record and process vendor invoices 
  • Onboard new vendors
  • Act as primary point of contact to resolve payment and procurement inquiries, both internal and external
  • Process expense reports in accordance with expense guidelines
  • Help manage our global travel and credit card program
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance to the team, including on various projects, as needed


About You:


You love working cross functionally on all activities associated with accounts payables, corporate cards and expense reports. You are hardworking, detail-oriented and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership. You have a collaborative approach and are able to build effective relationships with colleagues across the entire organization. You seek to understand and root cause issues and resolve them timely. You take initiative and enjoy working in a dynamic environment across all levels of management and across functions and geographies with minimal supervision. You are confident, energetic, demonstrate good judgment. 




  • Minimum 2 + Years experience in a similar role
  • Positive attitude and internal customer service focus
  • Knowledge of GAAP Accounting Policies and internal controls
  • Knowledge of international billing (i.e VAT)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective writing and informal communication skills
  • A strong passion for Nextdoor’s mission
