Senior Manager, Content Marketing at LeanData

We’re looking for an experienced Content Marketing professional to build a strategic, integrated content marketing program from the ground up. This role requires equal strengths in strategy and hands-on execution. We’re looking for a go-getter who is able to think about the big picture, effectively work across teams with executives and other key stakeholders, and a passion to roll up their sleeves and write. 

You’ll drive both the strategy and content that will expand our company’s digital presence and brand awareness, while directly contributing to sales pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Develop the long-term content vision and strategy that supports aggressive revenue goals 
  • Maintain a centralized content calendar reflecting key functions in the revenue engine (sales, channel, marketing, customer success)   
  • Map content against the customer lifecycle, both identifying and filling gaps 
  • Manage the LeanData blog program and create a blog content calendar
  • Plan and manage execution of strategic content assets, such as whitepapers, ebooks, videos, etc. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with demand generation, sales, customer success, communications, partner marketing, product marketing and customer marketing teams
  • Be the “editor-in-chief” at LeanData to ensure a cohesive brand voice across all outputs 
  • Spearhead SEO strategy for all digital assets 
  • Measure and optimize the effectiveness of content by developing meaningful reporting, KPIs and metrics for each content channel

Requirements (we need you to have):
  • 5 - 7 years of related marketing experience
  • Excellent writer with both a passion and proven skillset for storytelling 
  • Ability to break down complex concepts and technologies into compelling value-led storylines
  • Confidence and poise to drive integrated content program via direct interaction with the executive team
  • Superior editorial, communications and project management skills as well as exceptional attention to detail
  • Mastery in creating a wide range of marketing assets, as well as experience managing agency vendors
  • Proven track record of leveraging in-house subject matter experts as well as creating assets directly
  • Creative thinker with out-of-the-box ideas to continually differentiate and stay ahead of market trends
  • Passion and ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and under tight deadlines
  • Experience in a start-up environment or in the B2B SaaS industry is preferred
