Digital Product Manager at Poppin

Poppin is looking for a Digital Product Manager to own all Poppin websites including Poppin.com and PoppinPod.com. This individual will be responsible for strategy and execution of our product development lifecycle, creating detailed technical requirements, and completing functional specifications for our sites that drive direct conversion and lead generation for our B2B sales organization. This includes: understanding business priorities, writing requirements, building wireframes, collaborating with marketing (creative, ecom, paid media), interfacing with engineering, managing timelines and owning the product roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Define product specifications based on user research to determine goals and requirements
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal departments to define and deliver technology solutions (marketing, creative, ecommerce, sales, engineering, leadership)
  • Define and drive product roadmaps through operational processes
  • Agile project management of projects/releases
  • Gather and cultivate key metrics to promote data-driven product development
  • Write functional specifications, including requirements and detailed use cases for new product features
  • Explain designs and constraints to stakeholders
  • Work closely with development teams during detailed design and implementation
  • Analyze and ensure performance requirements are met
  • Review test plans with Poppin’s software quality assurance team
  • Prioritize and communicate cross-organizational projects in a clear and effective way

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a product manager, prior experience with e-commerce operations preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Experience in writing functional specifications
  • Experience working in small, highly focused, data-driven teams
  • Must be able to define and manage a broad scope of complex processes and/or product issues using independent judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and management skills
  • Experience working with ERPs, EMS, and/or e-commerce (Demandware/NetSuite) platforms
  • Ability to navigate complex problems that range across the organization and create solutions for them in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment
