Senior Marketing Operations Manager at SendBird

SendBird is looking for a Marketing Operations Lead to power SendBird’s marketing engine. As a core member of the Demand Generation team, this person will be responsible for monitoring and enabling the delivery of qualified leads (not to mention, our resident Marketo expert!). The ideal candidate will understand marketing activities and will build out systems, processes and workflows to support and augment them. 


Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, you will join a dynamic and empowering marketing team that operates with an urgency, a data driven mindset, attention to detail, an eye for quality, and a commitment to creating and influencing a quality pipeline for sales.




Marketing Operations Strategy

Own the MarTech stack across different tools and support the selection/management of our marketing technology ecosystem and associated vendors

Build and update reports and dashboards to provide visibility into marketing campaign results as well as analyze how they will evolve across the sales funnel

Optimize lead scoring, nurturing and routing to ensure that high-quality leads are passed and prioritized appropriately to sales for qualification

Identify areas of inefficiency/sub-optimization in marketing operations; propose solutions that will drive better results

Marketing Operations Day-to-Day Management

Setting up new API integrations managing existing integrations and custom API web services

Troubleshooting CRM errors, designing and implementing long term solutions.

Managing relationships between Marketo, Salesforce and other external tools such as Looker

Working with global marketing and sales teams to ensure campaign programs are designed and executed effectively

Monitor email deliverability and list hygiene to ensure optimal inbox placement and privacy compliance

Assisting with lead database management; data normalization, custom fields, attributions, tags, list segmentation

Setting up A/B tests and reporting on results as well as proposed solutions/next steps from those findings

Build, test and send emails and registration pages, and other campaign elements (smart lists, upload lead lists) in Marketo

Track, manage, and own Marketo drips for effectiveness and results

Monitoring lead data quality: data cleaning, normalization, and imports of email lists

You are an excellent communicator and use your communication skills to align a diverse set of stakeholders

You thrive in high-energy environments where you are able to own multiple initiatives.




3+ years experience in marketing operations, preferably in B2B/or SaaS industries.

Understanding of marketing and sales funnels and associated marketing practices.   

Experience building and optimizing marketing automation platforms especially Marketo; working experience of Salesforce CRM

Strong communication skills; ability to align multiple stakeholders. 

Ability to run rigorous due-diligence for new technologies, tools/systems and vendors
