As Tonal’s Software and Content Program Manager, you will coordinate product programs. In close collaboration with our internal Designers, Content Producers, and Product Managers, your role is to manage Content and SW programs from concept to release and facilitate putting in place Program Management processes. Your work will directly affect the future and function of the Tonal experience, and platforms.

Reporting to the Head of Program Management, you’ll manage development programs, and easily articulate the work, milestones, deadlines, and goals along the way. This role requires a high tolerance for iteration, a high degree of collaboration and coordination across teams, and an ability to learn and move on quickly.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and own comprehensive project plans. Enable cross-team planning and collaboration
  • Ensure product requirements are clearly defined
  • Coordinate with teams to identify, prioritize and track risks to schedule and product quality
  • Identify dependencies and work with teams (Content, SW, QA, Product, and Beta) to determine mitigation plan
  • Synthesize large amounts of data into a clear story and communicate to partners and organizations at all levels
  • Maintain an orientation toward teamwork and collaboration
  • Provide regular program status updates and communicate escalations as needed to Executive Management
  •  Communicate development milestones, project schedules, and status updates and drive alignment across the organization and between teams
  • Define and apply the Program Management process for Content development and delivery

Who You Are
  • 5+ years work in Program Management role for a tech/retail/consumer product company
  • Excellent planning, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology and experience working in an Agile-based development environment
  • Knowledge of program management tools and techniques. PMP certificate is a plus.
  • Knowledge of video production is a plus
  • Expertise in effectively managing, addressing and responding to design feedback
  • Superior collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated with the capability of working independently
