Perform 20% of research and 30% of design in the following areas:
Design and manage the enrollment of the security and remote management techniques for
the entire devices fleet to secure company hardware assets. Design automation and
management of software assets and entitlements across the department for best-in-class
security. Define and follow the cybersecurity procedures to ensure employees don’t violate
defined policies related to hardware and software assets. Implement IT and engineering
operations budgeting and long-term vision for the monitoring and infrastructure
management services. Automate IT and business operations leveraging machine-to-machine
APIs and platforms to reduce the manual work and operational failures. Management (30%)
in the following areas: Establish a world-class IT department with enterprise-grade security
and automation across the board. Drive the engineering operations providing the
engineering team with the levers and tools they need to achieve their goals. Lead the
company-wide software procurement and software budgeting across the departments. Drive
platform cost optimizations to optimize business expenses. Training and team leadership
(20%): Hire, train and mentor the IT and support engineers to maintain the IT operations.
Participate in the selection process of security engineers handling IT security topics.
Participate in the selection process of backend engineers handling high-level software
architecture topics. Occasional travel within the United States and internationally less than
20% of the time will be required.

Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or Computer
    • Engineering or foreign equivalent and sixty (60) months work experience as IT Director, IT Manager or related occupation
    • Knowledge of: OKTA IM platform, SKIM, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenId, JAMF MDM framework, Device trust on MacOS and iOS, Apple’s DEP and VPP programs, MDM framework for hardware assets management, Jamf Connect, VoIP conference systems, Zoom.US, Zoom phone, VoIP services for company-wide communication, business systems automation Zendesk, Workato, DataVirtuality, Slack integrations End-points security Bitdefender, Tenable, Threatstack, Sumo Logic Physical security of IT environments SWQUR, HID hardware, Ubiquiti Project management WRIKE, JIRA and AHA
