The Impact You’ll Make

As the Partnerships Manager for Australia, you should have a deep interest in community and a strong vision of potential partners that would drive local daily utility for our members. In order to succeed, you will need demonstrated success in this area and deep contacts within the public services sector. 

Your role is essential to our success, so you’ll be bringing new partners to the table and onboarding them/ coaching them through the process. You’ll work closely with your local and global colleagues and will also represent Nextdoor at related events and member meetups. 

Among many things, you will:

  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity in your interactions with high level stakeholders internally and externally
  • Serve as the main point of contact for our Australian partners including local government and emergency services (Police, RFS, SES, etc)  while managing and tracking their performance 
  • Ensure our partners are embracing best practices and incorporating Nextdoor deeply into their connections at a community level 
  • Collaborate with our partners to deliver innovative campaigns
  • Collaborate on a global and local scale to deliver partners and members the best experience possible
  • Challenge yourself to find new ways to deliver successful outcomes on a budget
  • Look at the big picture and solve problems logically and strategically

What You’ll Bring to The House

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated contact base in the public services sector
  • Experience with marketing tools such as Tableau, Google Slides, Keynote, and Instapages
  • BS/BA Degree preferred
  • Polished presence; proven ability to present confidently and develop relationships with executives
  • Experience presenting at conferences valued
  • A positive attitude and a passion for community.
