Acquisition Marketing Associate at Turo

Turo is looking for a data-driven marketer to drive Turo’s new host and guest acquisition efforts in Canada. The ideal candidate has an appetite for all things marketing, data and analytics; can identify scalable, investment-worthy channels; and is able to employ rigorous audience and message testing methodologies to uncover new opportunities for user growth.

  • Develop, execute, and measure accretive, ROI-positive strategies on a variety of channels (SEM, UAC, Paid Social, Offline, etc.).
  • Own paid acquisition channels from start to finish: identify promising channels, execute against channel strategy, oversee creative optimization, and optimize with focus on ROI and ARPU.
  • Dive into data to better understand our customers and identify opportunities for new user acquisition.
  • Implement strategies that increase top line user growth and unit economics - increase LTV and decrease CAC - across the portfolio.
  • Effectively communicate strategy, objectives, and performance results cross-functionally.


  • 2-4 years of experience in Marketing, Data Analytics, Consulting
  • BA/BS in Business/Marketing, Economics, and/or Math & Statistics
  • Experience using data, analytics, and metrics to drive business results
  • Experience managing performance marketing campaigns across digital channels. SEM and paid social experience preferred. Experience with offline media (TV, OOH, etc.) a plus
  • Proficiency with Excel; proficiency with relational databases and/or SQL a plus
  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn web/marketing analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Optimizely, etc.)
  • Professional work ethic coupled with sound judgment.
  • Experience working in rapid growth environment that requires flexibility and continuous innovation
  • Able to “roll up your sleeves” to do what is needed in urgent situations while maintaining a “big-picture” view. You are excited about the idea of working with a small team to get the job done, even if you sometimes need to do things that are outside of your direct job description.
