We’re growing rapidly, and we’re in need of a Senior Visual Designer to help us bring our company and customer stories to life. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects - from brand identity to website redesign, digital advertising to marketing collateral, sales enablement tools and home-buying education materials. We’re a fast-moving group, so the Senior Visual Designer will need to be able to find the balance between perfection and innovation. If you’re comfortable going deep into the design details on a major brand project, and then switching gears to work on some quick assets for digital display channels, you’ll fit right in with the rest of our content team. 

The Senior Visual Designer will work directly with the VP of Integrated Marketing. If you have an excellent eye for design, like working with new trends and new content types, and are comfortable being a go-to design expert, we’d like to meet you.

What You’ll Do

  • Take complex product concepts and data and bring them to life simply and beautifully through visual storytelling — be that images, illustration, animation or infographics
  • Drive creative brainstorm sessions and ideation exercises
  • Establish and maintain consistency of brand assets (logos, fonts, color palettes, tone of voice, key messaging, taglines and more) across all marketing collateral
  • Strong design point-of-view, but a willingness to constructively synthesize and incorporate feedback from stakeholders
  • Experience using data to enhance design - especially in performance marketing channels
  • Ability to own the design and marketing content development process from start-to-finish
  • Interested in developing content and experiences that integrate seamlessly into a consumer’s mobile experience and delight 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic or communication design or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years experience with work experience across design disciplines – graphic design, communication design, video, and/or experience design - a plus
  • Expert skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Lightweight motion graphics experience and familiarity with After Effects a plus
  • Strong consulting skills to work across teams - both local and remote
  • Analytical thinker who asks “Why?” instead of “How?”
  • Experience managing freelance talent to scale team capacity, as needed, or prior experience managing an in-house design team, a plus
