Logistics Manager at Fetch Robotics

Logistics Manager is responsible for managing internal & external day to day Logistics service level requirements for Fetch Robotics inbound deliveries & global outbound shipments of products. Oversees and manages all freight provider and contract manufacturing vendors/partners. This includes maintaining, creating, and auditing Fetch Robotics Logistics operations and service level requirements. 


Primary responsibilities include:

Manage freight provider pickup as per commitment in the sales order dashboard.  Preparation of all required documents/materials to support import/export of Products including required export/import licenses, commercial invoices, proforma invoices, sales order data, packing slips and any other related paperwork.Prepare freight/cargo for transport; band cargo to the pallet, adhere labels, BOL, and transport safety identifiers (i.e., shock-watch).The Logistics Manager must have a knowledge of national and international import/export regulations and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation.Define and manage proper Harmonized tariff codes/schedules, dangerous goods, and ECCN, and other import/export product level requirements for Fetch Robotics.Define and manage best INCOterms for Fetch Robotics based on individual customer engagement.Maintain weights and dimensions for all Fetch Robotics Products.Maintain auditable shipping records for both inbound and outbound freight.Responsible for tracking of non-EXW shipment from the place of origin to point of delivery supporting on-time delivery goal. Input ship date and AWB into the sales order dashboard. Manage & quote 3PLs / freight forwarders quarterly driving cost reductions for Fetch Robotics. Develop and implement logistics plans, budgets, service levels and procedures to ensure compliance while mitigating costs to Fetch Robotics Organize and optimize shipping area for efficiency and safety deploying 5S principles where applicableCreate, archive, in an auditable method for Logistics key performance indicators via revision controlled documentation. Interacts within multiple levels of the organization; to develop, manage, and communicate schedules; and to identify and communicate riskDevelop, manage, audit and act as Lead for RMA (return material authorization) process for Field Support/ Reverse Logistics of incoming Products Report out inbound & outbound OTD (on-time delivery), monthly spend by vendor, damage claims, RMA management.Back up for various inventory control functions including receiving & cycle counts (as required) Other Operations duties as prescribed by Manager

Requirements5+ years of experience in similar Logistics role Excellent communication, written/verbal, and organization skillsAbility to concisely state an issue at varying levels of detail depending on the audienceFluency in tools such as; Netsuite & Google SheetsStrong foundation process improvement with a focus on data accuracy PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individuals may be required to sit, stand or walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.,  attendance at meetings with indirect and direct team members, supervisors, and management.Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service log, as well as training and safety records.
