About the Role:

Imperfect Foods is seeking a Merchandising Associate to monitor, update and optimize Imperfect's inventory of “beyond produce” items.   Primary responsibilities include ensuring the weekly catalogue is set, as well as development and maintenance of processes and business rules.

Responsibilities:

Monitor inventory levels for assigned products across the network

Maximize product in-stock levels while minimizing inventory investment

Develop processes and business rule sets to ensure the flow of goods is as smooth as possible

Help the buyers write the PO’s when appropriate

Help buyer execute logistic plans for PO’s

Collaborate internally with all teams, especially sourcing/procurement and operations associates to ensure adequate supply, effective cost management, but minimum possible inventory investments

Conduct analysis of product performance

Liaise with marketing/products team to incorporate customer feedback, buying patterns, and trends

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as inventory management or similar position

Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

Working knowledge of inventory management processes, methodologies, and software

Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports

Details of the Position:

Full-time exempt position reporting to the Category Manager

Position based out of our San Francisco Headquarters in the Bayview district

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work; involves sitting most of the time

Occasional movement around the office and warehouse will be necessary

Regular work with computers, including keyboards, mouses, and screens
